VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCES
A step to me embracing the essence of life
While growing up in Nigeria, I understood that the basic needs of life, for example, water, electricity, food was not accessible to people I saw around me. At a young age, I understood that the daily supply of all this together meant you are from another world different from mine, its complexity was enough to conceptualise without having to live somewhere different from the world I saw. However, the world I lived in was filled with beauty, community, love, and care for one another. We all grasp the essence of the beauty of our humanity regardless of the obvious life's limitations. I personally learned in the world I grew in, the ability to offer service for the good of humanity without any return.
